La'Porscha Smith is a self-taught visual artist with experience across a variety of mediums, currently residing in Charlotte,North Carolina. She initiated her artistic journey as a means of self-expression, but found that she also had a passion for inspiring other creative souls. Her work focuses on topics like self love and the importance of being communicative about mental health, especially within the black community. Smith's pieces have been displayed in such places as the McColl Center during the 2020 - 2022 Benefit Art Sale and South End Arts. She has participated in a variety of workshops for creators like AC Moore and The UNCC Center. She is a current member of the Palette Table and has her latest body of work on display at 9.18.9 Studio gallery in Charlotte,North Carolina.
